Chia is an investment professional on the Private Equity team at AMERRA Capital Management. At AMERRA, Chia sources, analyzes, and negotiates opportunities across the Americas, providing growth equity to family owned and institutional operations. In addition, Chia managed AMERRA’s corn and soybean farming operation, actively involved in production decisions and crop marketing.
Chia began her agribusiness career in Bunge’s Corporate Strategy group. Prior to Bunge, as a Vice President at JPMorgan expanding the firm’s presence in Latin America and Russia, Chia was responsible for investment strategy, regulatory approvals, marketing, and operations for new products. Within JPMorgan, Chia previously held positions in treasury analytics and equities. Before joining JPMorgan, she worked on a ranch in Wyoming.
She holds an MBA with honors in finance and operations from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an AB cum laude in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Princeton University. Chia speaks Mandarin and is conversational in Spanish, French, and Russian.
