Ilyssa Satter is the Program Director of Brooklyn FoodWorks, Brooklyn’s first ever culinary incubator located in Bedford Stuyvesant’s historic Pfizer building. At Brooklyn FoodWorks, Ilyssa oversees the growth of the Brooklyn FoodWorks culinary community and spearheads its business development programming and mentorship program. In only two months since its inception, Ilyssa has grown the BKFW community to a group of over 50 caterers, bakers and specialty food makers and onboarded a mentorship roster of over 40 business development professionals. Prior to joining Brooklyn FoodWorks, Ilyssa cut her teeth at Hot Bread Kitchen where she played a key strategic role in the creation of the NYCHA Food Business Pathways program, the city’s first business-accelerator focused on culinary entrepreneurs residing in Section 8 housing. Ilyssa holds a B.S. in Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
